Tuesday and Wednesday this week Atterupgaards Cassidy, mom and I went to Middelfart to train with the national coach Rudolf Zeilinger and my own trainer Rune Willum. First day we trained some different exercises. Main focus was definetly on the basics, but we also did some of the exercises to Grand Prix. We had a lot of focus on lengthening the frame of Cassidy’s neck and get an even softer contact to the rein.
I’ve made two short videos from our training sessions. It’s a mix of canter- and trot work, and a few exercises from Grand Prix level.
The first video is from Tuesday where he was a bit tight in the frame (in the front) and a bit tight in piaff and passage. On the Wednesday-video I really think that we improved on this issue - he is much more relaxed in the piaff and passage work and generally better in the frame.
It was very nice to have two intense training sessions with Rune and Rudolf, and I can’t wait to compete Cassidy again. Our next competition will be in Hagen the last weekend in April.
Thanks to UT Fashion for our newest training outfit from Cavalleria Toscana, RG Italy and Samshield!
I hope you like watching some longer videos than on Instagram - Enjoy.
