This weekend we were six riders from Dufour Dressage, competing at a big national show at Heslegård Ridingcenter.
Three junior riders, Celine Silfen (on two horses), Sara V. D. Petersen and Frida D. Pedersen participated in the ECCO cup for U18 riders. We also had two riders in the normal M-level classes, Sanne Svendsen and Line B. Andersen, and then myself on Bohemian also in the M-level classes.
First day of competition went super well, as Bohemian did a great job winning MB1 scoring more than 70%, and we were followed by Frida D. Pedersen on Sandbæks Florestan who were placed second scoring 68%. In the other MB1 class (there were two rounds) Celine Silfen won with her charming gelding Romio Højris scoring 69.3%. Placed as number three was Sanne Svendsen on her 7yr old mare Hannah Montana W.
Saturday: MB2 & TCJ
Saturday Bohemian and I was first to go in MB2. It was our first start ever in this test, so I was quite excited to see how we would cope with the new lines. He was totally amazing, and I couldn't have asked for more during our test. Outstanding trot work and great flying changes all the way. We scores 74.3% and took another huge victory at Bohemians first national show. I'm so proud of this super star, and can't wait to see what the future will hold for us.
In the same class, Sanne Svendsen came in third on Hannah Montana scoring 68.9%. It was their debut at national level, and they can be so proud of their performances! We're definitely going to see a lot of great results from this couple in the future!
In the junior class Celine Silfen had some tensions with her black pearl Romio Højris, but despite that they came in second scoring 70.5%. Sara V. D. Petersen was placed as number 7 with her big impressive mare Katholm's Ronaldo scoring 69%, followed by Frida D. Petersen and Sandbæks Florestan scoring 68.5%. All three junior girls qualified for the Sunday's freestyle final.
Sunday: Junior Freestyle
All three girls did a good job in the freestyle. They have all designed their tests and put a lot of work into music choices, and therefor it's always a pleasure to watch them perform their freestyles. Celine Silfen came in as number three at the junior Ecco Cup, while Sara and Frida placed as number 7 and 10.
This was the last qualification for the ECCO Cup before the big final in December. All three girls will hopefully participate when Middelfart Ridingcenter hosts the final within a month.
Congratulations to family Zinglersen owner of Bohemian and of course to all the skilled girls who've performed amazing this weekend.
